Sawai Atsuhiro | Testimonial
I believe H. E. Davey Sensei is the most qualified person to explain the teachings of Nakamura Tempu, the founder of Shin-shin-toitsu-do (The Way of Mind and Body Unification). Davey Sensei has not only practiced the methods of mind and body unification that comprise this art since an early age, but he's also taught them to Americans for many years. Combine this lengthy training with his experience as an author and journalist, and you have a potent combination of attributes.
He has learned from four students of Nakamuara Sensei. Shin-shin-toitsu-do is little-known outside Japan, and it's rare for a Western person to study under even one advanced disciple of the founder, let alone four direct pupils. I'm happy to count myself as one of Davey Sensei's teachers.
